After Amber fort, you will visit Jal Mahal, also known as the Water Palace and is immensely popular among tourists due to its serene beauty, lakeside view, and street food.
Once your Jal Mahal trip is made, you will head for the City Palace, a very important historic monument in Jaipur as it covers one-seventh of the entire city. This place is where the royal Rajput families lived in the past. Even today, a part of this palace is still used by erstwhile royal families as their home in Jaipur. The major attractions at this palace include the Maharani’s Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple, Mukut Mahal, and Mubarak Mahal.
After Jal Mahal, you can take a break for lunch and start your second half of Jaipur sightseeing.
In the second half of sightseeing, you will be taken to visit the Palace of Winds, known as Hawa Mahal. This pink sandstone building has more than 500 windows, which were used in the past by royal women to see the daily street life, as they were restricted to go outside being part of the royal Rajputana family.
The cool wind blowing through the facade of windows makes Hawa Mahal, a highly fascinating spot for travellers. The elegant paintings, floral ornamentation, and mirror embellishment on the walls at this palace is a treat to watch for anyone.
