Upon arrival to Agra, you’ll be taken straight to the Taj Mahal, the main attraction point in the city. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is known for its incredible beauty and artistic value. The mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of her wife Mumtaj Mahal. It is constructed of ivory-white marble and is considered the symbol of eternal love.

Lunch will be served at a classic, Indian restaurant with local cuisines.

Taj Mahal is located near the Yamuna river and the famous Mehtab Bagh, which is one of the last and most visited Mughal Gardens in the country.

It is located on the opposite side of the Yamuna river. You’ll be surprised to know that the area of the Mehtab Bagh is in perfect alignment with that of the Taj Mahal, both are located on the opposite banks of the Yamuna river.

The next you will visit the Agra Fort, which was built by Akbar the Great in the 15th Century. For about 100 years, the fort was occupied by different Mughal Emperors. The latest rulers of the fort were Marathas before it was captured by the British in 1803. The Agra Fort is famous for beautiful architecture, historical significance and cultural values.

It is a perfect depiction of the Mughal influence on Indian art and society. Some of the major attractions inside the Agra Fort are Jahangir's Hauz, Ghaznin Gate, The Muthamman Burj, Shahjahani Mahal, Jahangir's Chain of Justice,  Shish Mahal.

By evening, the trip back to Delhi will start, and you will be dropped back at your preferred location in Delhi by late evening.
